Together Birks and Mayors boast a number of award-winning
designers. Over the last 50 years, Birks has collected more
awards than any other Canadian jeweler. Among them, Birks has
won an impressive 12 Diamonds Today Awards, the most prestigious
jewellery-design award in Canada. Birks designers have also earned
6 Diamonds-International Awards – sponsored by De Beers,
and the Academy Award of jewellery design. From the Platinum Celebration
Awards to the prestigious Diamonds Today Awards, Mayors designers
have received merited praise and recognition for outstanding
