Birks&Mayors became a publicly held Canadian
corporation trading on the American Stock Exchange under the
symbol ‘’BMJ’’ on November 15, 2005.
The company operates 37 stores under the Birks brand in most
major metropolitan markets of Canada, 2 under the Brinkhaus
brand name in Calgory and Vancouver, and 31 stores under the
Mayors brand in Florida and Georgia.
The integration of Birks and Mayors separate operations has
continued for over two years. The results have been consistent
growth in sales, merchandise margin improvement and improved
efficiency of operations through integration savings. |
